Plasma Coatings offers an extensive line of wear-resistant, ink-repellent coatings for a vast array of printing-press components. In order to provide a sealant for these wear resistant coatings which result in a permanent ink-repellent surface and which additionally will drastically reduce the need for frequent cleanings that are commonly practiced in printing technology, your components will first be treated with a hard metal layer providing a durable, hard surface, offering protection from the wear and tear experienced in the printing industry. Next, the component is impregnated with a release agent and then either air or oven cured as needed so as to prevent ink deposition. The result? Better ink adhesion, less downtime for cleaning, longer life, and increased savings.
